How can I get an internet connection using a Motorola cable modem and just a USB cord, no ethernet cord?

I have a Motorala Cable modem its a SB5100 and I dont want to use a ethernet cord, just a usb cord!

Is this possible?

If the modem has a USB port you can, but it is a far slower and less reliable connection than an ethernet cable. You will need to load drivers for the modem. If it has no USB connector, you can't.
